She is a Primary Education teacher, illustrator and graphic designer from Barcelona. As a child, she stood out for her creativity, which she expressed through Art, working with a wide variety of techniques and mediums.

Over the years, after much practice and training in Illustration and Fine Arts, she has developed a very emotive and personal style; drawing inspiration from nature, especially floral elements, and working mostly with watercolours as a base.

Maria has worked on illustrated stories and albums. Her work includes a series of drawings, postcards, prints and decorative motifs.

Through her illustrations, the artist takes us to an imaginary dream world, full of feelings and philosophical thoughts, which are based on everyday and personal experiences with which we feel identified.
