Our mission: finding the right home for our books

I have a degree in English Language and Literature and almost 30 years’ experience in publishing.

My journey in publishing started in 1993 in beautiful Bath (UK). My entry point was Victoria House Publishing (part of Reader’s Digest) where I worked for 6 wonderful years.

Looking to expand, I moved to the big city and joined the Quarto Group in London, with the challenging mission of setting up and running the Quarto Children’s Book department. Then, in 2003, I took a step further by setting up my own agency, Pérez Lucas International Sales.

Since then, I have been happily working in Barcelona selling co-edition and translation rights to many publishing companies around the world.

My son Dilan and my daughter Ada have grown up surrounded by stories and piles of books at this place they call The Fairytale House (La Casa de Los Cuentos).
